Delray Beach Intensive Outpatient treats clients of all ages and walks of life. Some people need a more intensive level of care for several months. Others get similar benefits from a short-term program followed by a period of counseling sessions.
We strive to create treatment programs for addiction that are integrative, experiential, and highly personalized.
Group therapy and individual counseling form the core of our IOP drug and alcohol addiction treatment programs. We also incorporate team-building exercises and restorative activities like yoga, art therapy, and beach outings.
Intensive outpatient treatment is less restrictive than traditional inpatient treatment programs. It’s a good option for people who have already completed an inpatient program or who have mild addictions. Clients in our intensive outpatient program live at home or offsite and meet most days of the week for a few hours per day. Group therapy sessions and individual counseling form the core of treatment. We also offer family therapy programs.
Partial hospitalization is less intensive than residential care, but more intensive than a traditional outpatient program. It’s a good option for people who are overcoming a chemical dependency but are unable to attend a full-time residential treatment program. Clients in our partial hospitalization program have the flexibility to continue working or going to school while in treatment. But they are carefully supervised and monitored throughout their progress. Accountability is at the heart of partial hospitalization. Clients are expected to report to scheduled appointments and communicate regularly with the clinical team.
Addiction and mental health disorders often go hand in hand. It’s essential to treat both together because untreated psychiatric disorders can increase the risk of relapse. Our experienced medical team has the training and skills to provide higher-level care for people with mental health disorders like anxiety or depression. We have an exceptional clinical team, including a resident psychiatrist who meets regularly with clients and is authorized to prescribe stabilizing medications for those who need it.
